SCHOOL VISITS

HUZZAH FOR SCHOOL VISITS!

Hi! I am a very enthusiastic speaker and would love to talk to your elementary/middle school, homeschool group, library, to book club. I also do Zoom and FaceTime visits. For public schools, my many author visits include Bettie Weaver Elementary, Swift Creek Middle School, Robious Elementary, Robious Middle, Midlothian Middle, Greenfield Elementary, Kersey Creek Elementary, Carver Middle School, and Wolftrap Elementary. For private schools, I’ve presented at St. Catherine’s School, the Veritas School, St. Mary’s, St. Edward’s, Banner Christian, and St. Joseph School. In addition, I’ve met with Chesterfield County’s Lead Middle School Teachers as well as the Lead Elementary Teachers. Please see my “Events” page for a full list of my wide experience in public speaking.

Feel free to contact me at Libby@SagebrushPublishing.com for rates and availability. If you are working with a limited budget, we can definitely discuss it. I am also happy to provide you with a pre-order form, so I can sign book for children on the spot.  They love that so much as do I!

I have a highly interactive approach and love meeting with groups of all sizes, tailoring it to their specific level. I’ve spoken to assemblies of several hundred kids with a wide range of ages, and I’ve also presented to individual classes and teacher groups.

TESTIMONIALS FROM EDUCATORS

“We are so grateful for your visit this morning. You inspired every single one of those students today! Thank you for sharing Susanna with us, and we can’t wait to read the next one.”

“Thanks to author Libby Carty McNamee who came and spoke to our 4th grade students today about her book, Susannah’s Midnight Ride. The students were mesmerized by her as she discussed her research, the writing process, and Susannah’s story of bravery during the Revolutionary War. It’s a great read based on a true story that few are aware of. Thanks, Libby!!”

“The kids loved your enthusiasm for research and writing! Still daydreaming about your visit on Friday!”
