The piece linked below is in the current issue of Robious Corridor Magazine. However, as many of you know, my main squeeze Cowboy is no longer living with us. Not longer after the submission date for this essay, sweet ole Cowboy started to nip (bite!) Sam several times. He never broke the skin, but he obviously couldn’t stick around these parts anymore. It was a sad, sad time around here, the end of the doggy rodeo for us.
However, there is a very, very happy ending to this story — I checked on Richmond Animal League’s website yesterday, and Cowboy has found himself another home just in time for Christmas!!! So happy for him and his new owner — and a tad jealous too! Louise remains ecstatic that he is never coming back to destroy the fabric of her life again.
“Cruising the Corridor – Ride ’em, Christmas Cowboy!”
Hope there is a Christmas miracle in your life!!
Merry Christmas!
