It’s already getting pretty doldrum-y out there, isn’t it? We aren’t even quite at two weeks after New Year’s Day, and here we are. It has also been pretty rainy, foggy and otherwise gloomy as well, which doesn’t help matters any. After all the hoopla of Christmas, it already seems like a distant blur in the rearview mirror.
So now there is finally time to do all the things there was no time to do during December’s Christmas crush. What were those things again, anyway? Can’t remember now! I always mean to write them down. Maybe next year…
On the bright side, there are not one but two long weekends coming up soon! There is spring break to plan and even summer way out there on the distant horizon. It’s time to dream, recharge, and look forward in anticipation of the good things to come. In the meantime it’s time to be grateful for what we have right now — a good excuse to curl up with some hot tea and a good book or movie. Now what’s wrong with that?
