Hello from the New “Shorty”

As Sam has been gaining on me in height, I’ve taking to calling him “Shorty,” knowing it’s short-lived.  Well, it’s over now.  I’m officially “Shorty” now forevermore.

It’s astounding.

 

I should be prepared for this, but it’s still downright baffling.  How in the world did this teeny tiny baby grow taller than me?  I know it’s so cliche, but cliches evolve for a reason, right?   That’s a good thing, I know, that he’s growing even faster than the weeds in our flower beds. But wow!  Wow!
